Medical education getting it right
Posted on May 5, 2013 at 6:25 AM |
Some medical schools are getting it right in experientially teaching their students about the mind-body connection. If this was to become widespread, it could spell the end of the 'mechanistic bias' in medicine, the beginning of a broad medical acceptance that we are more than just a clever collection of nuts and bolts (and would give the pharmaceutical companies something to really worry about). Lets hope it does become more common in medical eduction.
